The Machinists Reunited Tour 2022

FRONT LINE ASSEMBLY (CAN) + DIE KRUPPS (DE)

The machinists are reunited. Canadian Front Line Assembly and German-American collaboration Die Krupps will tour Europe in August 2022. The two Industrial/EBM pioneers will stop for an exclusive Dutch show at the Nieuwe Nor on Sunday, August 28. As support, Tension Control will perform.

The Canadian Front Line Assembly was founded in 1986 and has 18 studio albums to its name. Front Line Assembly doesn’t like to do the same thing twice: the band’s sound has varied over time between EBM and industrial metal – and on their album ‘Echogenetic’ (2013) you can even hear dubstep. The latest album ‘Mechanical Soul’ (2021) is another fusion of different styles and features contributions from Jean-Luc DeMeyer (Front 242) and Dino Cazeres (Fear Factory).

Die Krupps from Germany have been around since 1980 and have had an undeniable influence on bands like Front 242 and Nitzer Ebb with their early work. Their latest release ‘Songs From The Dark Side Of Heaven’ (2021) is a cover album on which they add an EBM sauce to songs by Queen, Sparks, The Stranglers, among others.
