Hip-hop from Dutch soil

Sticks of Sticky Steez broke through with the rap formation Opgezwolle. This collaboration rapper Phreako Rico and DJ-producer Delic is at the beginning of a career full of projects with A.R.T, Rico, Typhoon, Kubus, Freez, Winne, Jiggy Djé, Hef, Lijpe and Mula B, among others. He made solo albums and started working with his group of friends from Zwolle, the Fakkelbrigade. In his never-ending quest for innovation, Sticks is also developing more and more outside the stages. He wrote Grijnzen naar de Goden and made the documentary Het Mooiste Komt Nu. Book and documentary both give an insight into the method and mindset of this Zwolle rapper, who has grown into one of the biggest names in the Dutch hip-hop scene.
