Shishani means ‘crown’ in one of Namibia’s mother tongues. She is a singer-songwriter with roots in Namibia and Belgium, but grew up mainly in the Netherlands. In her work, she brings these worlds together. She has won several awards for her work at home and abroad and tours internationally.
She is loved for her soothing and powerful voice. Her vocal sound has both mystical lightness and the power to pierce the soul. She performs with Miss Cartharsis, a unique band of women of colour, where the expression of the feminine, in all its facets, is central.

The programming of the Spiegeltentconcerts is a cooperation between Cultura Nova, Parkstad Limburg Theatres and pop stage NIEUWE NOR.
