With her debut album In Mijn Bloed (2017), Roxeanne closed a period; unhappy, searching, angry. The creative process was her therapy. Her vulnerability and honesty were rewarded with rave reviews, a hit and an Edison. “Our mouths fell open”, the jury report said. “Hazes reinvents herself as a vulnerable pop diva who draws from rock, pop, levenslied, R&B and dance.” This year Roxeanne Hazes – by now a mother and in a completely different phase of her life – presents her second album: electronic, sometimes eclectic dark pop sounds with a nostalgic life-song edge in a modern jacket: “I will always keep that melancholy in me. That will be in my Hazes DNA. Let me revel in it now and then.”

The programming of the Spiegeltentconcerten is a collaboration between Cultura Nova, Parkstad Limburg Theaters and pop stage NIEUWE NOR.
