Fifty minutes without touching the ground! 

The French company CirkVOST is one of the of the world’s leading trapeze companies. In the spectacular PIGMENTS, they take on the challenge of catch and release without touching the ground for almost an hour at a height of fifteen meters above ground. Wherever you look, there is always something to see.  

A gigantic metal installation becomes a teeming den of acrobats who climb and fall, float and land, play with rhythm and dance wildly. It’s all about trust and group dynamics. There is no room for individualism. Any solo initiative can unbalance the group. Is this an allegory of today’s society or just a rebellion against the laws of gravity? It is, in any case, more than just acrobatics. It is a wild, poetic dance. It’s not only an attempt to try to free ourselves from the existential movement that overtakes us all and that we nevertheless have to learn to love, but it is also just a fantastic spectacle. 

Founded in 2007, the French circus company CirkVOST specializes in aerial acrobatics and experiments. The group has now grown to 20 people who take part in this adventure. The artistic collective CirkVOST offers original and impressive stage designs in the service of movement with their aerial circuses. “One cannot move without the other”.
Whereas in the beginning of PIGMENTS everyone is dressed in blue – the color of the sky – the performance ends with a rainbow of Pigments: blue, yellow, purple, red.
