Lost Dog (6+)
Cal Y Canto Teatro (esp)
Exciting street art, puppet and object theater about the life of a street dog.
Lost Dog takes you to a new place, somewhere on the street. In a poetic theater, whose curtain does not rise further than strictly necessary, you enter the world of a street dog. For Lost Dog has no owner. You see the world through his eyes, walking hungry and thirsty between the bright headlights of cars. A shadow in the night, looking for food, a roof over his head, a warm place.
Street art, puppet and object theater
Spanish company Cal Y Canto Teatro creates (imagined) performances in a unique blend of street art, puppet and object theater. In Lost Dog, the children share the point of view of a street dog. His emotions are expressed in a very special way through the actors’ feet and shoes. This location performance without textwas shown in more than 25 countries and was awarded as the “Best Show in Unconventional Space” at FETEN (The European Fair of Performing Arts for Children) 2017. The set is made entirely of recycled materials
