K's Choice
The Belgian pop group K’s Choice is making a new start with live performances and will be the only concert in the Netherlands to visit Cultura Nova. K’s Choice was founded in Antwerp in 1993 by Sam and Gert Bettens, and is still considered one of the greatest bands in Belgian pop and rock history. Over the years they scored numerous top 10 album positions, including ‘Paradise In Me’, ‘Cocoon Crash’, ‘Echo Mountain’ and ‘The Phantom Cowboy’ which went straight to the #1 position in Belgium and numerous other countries, resulting in multiple gold and platinum awards. Their big breakthrough came in 1995 with ‘Not An Addict’, a single that broke many boundaries and brought the band international fame. Even three decades later, the song is still an integral part of international playlists.
Yes, almost 30 years! In 2023 the band celebrates its 30th anniversary and is still alive and kicking, more than ever. New material and exclusive releases are in the pipeline, but first the band will stop in Heerlen on September 2 for their first concert on Dutch soil since 2019. Festival Cultura Nova and Parkstad Limburg Theaters present a concert by K’s Choice.
