A dance performance about imperfections, second chances and the right to reinvent yourself

With ImPERFECT, the Spanish company La Baldufa has taken on a great challenge. On stage we see three adults. Three inexperienced and imperfect bodies, trying to reinvent themselves: to play like children and experiment with dance. Their play culminates in an infectious dance performance about imperfections and second chances. In our demanding society, is it possible to learn to dance at the age of 50? We think so!

ImPERFECT received the award for best major performance at FETEN 2023 and has been nominated for best dance performance at the Premios MAX 2024; the most prestigious award within the performing arts in Spain. “With an exquisite pun as its title, the three members enter an imperfect world in which, through play, they make us doubt what perfection is as a goal in real society,” wrote la Opinion de Murcia.
