Salomé Dos Santos, better known as Blu Samu, emerged as a true promise just before the corona break in the middle of the Brussels hip-hop scene. In Belgium and France, they listened massively to her first EP Moka, released in 2018. “Blu Samu is fast becoming the Belgian Lauryn Hill,” headlined Focus Knack. In the Netherlands, she played her first shows with verve at festivals such as Best Kept Secret and So What’s Next. At the end of May 2022, after a long silence, there was finally new work. On the EP 7 she shows that she has mastered a whole palette of musical styles and is able to shape them in her own way: a mix of soul, jazz, Portuguese fado and Cape Verdean morna, with melancholy dripping from the notes. Expect a strong show full of hip-hop, rap, funk, jazz and soul. But above all energy, sincere emotion and authenticity.

The programming of the Spiegeltentconcerts is a cooperation between Cultura Nova, Parkstad Limburg Theatres and pop stage NIEUWE NOR.
